Refund and Cancellation Policy

Your right to cancel (EU consumers)
If you're a consumer in the EU, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from any online purchase, with no reason needed.
For subscriptions to digital content (like our product), this right ends early if you actively ask us to start delivering content immediately and confirm you understand you'll lose the right to withdraw once we do. In practice, this means:
If you request your subscription to start straight away, and we begin sending you stories, you accept that your withdrawal right ends once that delivery has begun.
If you'd prefer to wait out the full 14-day window before we start, let us know at hello@chantlings.com and we'll delay activation.
If you cancel within the 14-day window before content delivery has started, we'll refund your payment in full within 14 days of your cancellation request.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel automatic renewal at any time through YOUR ACCOUNT / STRIPE CUSTOMER PORTAL LINK or by emailing hello@chantlings.com. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund the current subscription period, which you'll continue to have access to until it ends.
Refunds outside the 14-day window
Once your 14-day withdrawal period has passed and content delivery has begun, subscription payments are non-refundable for the remainder of that billing year. If something has gone wrong on our end (for example, a billing error or a technical fault that meant you couldn't access your content), contact hello@chantlings.com and we'll put it right, including a partial or full refund where appropriate.
Offers
There may be one-time discounts applied at signup. These offers cannot be applied retroactively to an existing full-price product and it cannot be combined with other discount codes.
Physical products
If you purchase a physical book, audiobook, or coloring book from us directly (as opposed to through Amazon or another retailer), our returns process follows UK and EU consumer law: you may return an unopened, unused physical item within 14 days of receipt for a full refund, excluding the cost of return shipping. Items bought through Amazon or another third-party retailer are covered by that retailer's own returns policy, not this one.
